This painting doesn't have any real sense of Historical accuracy. But the painting skills, of Paterson is fantastic, he certainly captured the scenery around Stringybark creek. Paterson, has put, who I assume as Ned on Joe's grey mare 'Music' and also, Ned is in armour, the gang only wore the armour once at Glenrowan. Paterson says:
